Australian born, California based, Amber B Dianda sews by night and shoots by day. She is best known for her imaginary world of hand-sewn plush creatures, and her ulterior world of photography.

Amber B's felt and illustrated creatures are a multi-tiered world of imagination. From their soft touch on the outside, to their sinister emotions beneath the surface, Amber's creatures provoke thought and interaction from all ages. Her imagery creates a connection, and feeds an ongoing cycle of give and take, stopping onlookers to ponder the meanings or have a laugh at their hidden messages.

Beyond this community of make-believe creatures, Amber is a photographer to the outside world. She is commended with an innate ability to capture emotion with minimal interference. Through her photography, this vision encapsulates the personalities of her subjects, accompanied by the details that define them. And her landscapes conjure up emotions while stopping time to tell stories without words.

Inspired by love, and guided by knowledge, Amber communicates her creativity through a parallel universe for all of us to enjoy.

"Art for me is about connection; connecting with friends, but also the strangers around me. I love being an observer, understanding and re-conveying that complicated world around us. Albeit sometimes it's cute and fluffy, and other times it's dark and thought provoking."
